- Creative Writing is launching a new curriculum in Autumn 2026.
- Students already declared have the option to stay on the Legacy Minor (AY24) or switch to the New Minor (AY27).
- All previously taken courses can count toward either minor path.

Course Equivalencies
All CRWR course types and titles will change to reflect the updated curriculum. Below you will find a list of how the old courses translate to the new. Students staying on the Legacy Minor can fulfill requirements using these course equivalences.
Additional Notes
*All students must now take a Workshop I before taking a Workshop II in the same genre.
*Only Legacy Minor students may enroll in the optional Winter Quarter Thesis Workshop and complete an optional portfolio.
*Legacy Minors who need Fundamentals credit should take a Workshop I in an alternate genre from their primary.
